The “Un-Manifesto” Talk

I took a 10-week course this year called “Claim your Voice” and learned how to speak with Power and Presence.

Toward the end of the course, we were to craft our “Manifesto Talk” Except I fell behind in my homework and wrote the following which was NOT the assignment.

Here it goes!

What does a Canning Company, Dorothy Smith and Ann Cook have in common? What they have in common is YOU! What they have in common is that they asked great questions.

I wonder IF…I wonder WHAT…I wonder WHO.

I’ve asked myself these questions. I wonder IF there is a remedy for me beyond doctor visits, prescriptions, and over-the-counter pain relievers?

I wondered WHAT and WHO could help me. The remedy I found involved looking beyond the physical to see how negative emotions affected my health.

The WHAT was bringing my bottled up emotions to light and releasing them once and for all.The WHO is Dr Bradley Nelson the author of The Emotion Code and the creator of The Body Code.

So, what does a Canning Company, Dorothy Smith and Ann Cook have in common? And what do they have to do with you?

The Freemont Canning Company ran a contest to find the face of their new ad campaign. Dorothy Smith submitted the winning entry. And in 1928, Ann Cook became the first Gerber baby. Most of us have grown up with Gerber baby food in our homes.

They asked the questions, I wonder IF…I wonder WHAT….I wonder WHO.

Asking great questions may be your first step toward feeling better, stronger and more yourself.
